The VLS Friday Night Series
The VLS iRacing League presented by The OBRL is a way for competitors to see what league racing is all about by racing different stock car vehicles throughout segments of the same season. These events average 70 minutes of track time after qualifying, often with one pit-stop needed per race, a 100% fuel load, and a 3 tire-change limit. The age restriction is 21 and over, which lowers the barrier to entry from The OBRL’s 35-year-old limit and hosts a great environment for newer drivers to mix in with experienced competitors to learn close wheel-to-wheel racing with an emphasis on strategy and clean racecraft.
Event Details
- Session opens at 8:00pm ET for practice
- Mandatory driver’s meeting at 8:50pm ET
- Qualifying (2-laps) starts at 9:00pm ET
- Grid and penalty assessment follows qualifying
- Drivers must be in practice by 8:30pm ET
